A blue memory of Villa Isola.

Villa Isola.

A very beautiful art deco building located in Lembang,

North Bandung, was onced a hotel under Savoy Homann.

Completed in 1933 by Wolff Schoemaker, a Dutch architect

as a house for Dominique Willem Berretty, a Dutch

media tycoon.

Above the reception room, Berretty placed a placard

which written;

'M'I ISOLO E VIVO'

( I isolate myself and live)

He died  in a plane crash in Syria in December 1934.

He lived only a few months here.
